Is believing in the divinity of Jesus a prerequisite to receiving salvation?

==================

To All,

Is believing in the divinity of Jesus a prerequisite to receiving salvation?

This is what the Word of God says:

Jer.24
[7] And I will give them an heart {{{to know me}}}, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their {{{whole heart}}}.

Jer.31
[34] And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: {{{for they shall all know me}}}, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD; {{{for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more}}}.

Christ says >>

John.8
[19] Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, {{{Ye neither know me, nor my Father}}}: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.

How then does one become "whole"? Peter filled with the Holy Spirit says >>

Acts.4
[10] Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
[12] Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

How does one then "know him"?

John.14
[17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: {{{but ye know him; for he dwelleth (with you), and shall be (in you).}}}

Paul says >> "For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, an have no confidence in the flesh.... And be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death... I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." (Phil. 3).

Rom.1
[16] For I am not ashamed of {{{the gospel of Christ}}}: for {{{it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth}}}; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Rom.2
[16] In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ {{{according to my gospel}}}.

Rom.16
[25] Now to him that is of power {{{to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ}}}, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

1Cor.1
[17] For Christ sent me not to baptize, {{{but to preach the gospel}}}: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

1Cor.4
[15] For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: {{{for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel}}}.

2Cor.4
[3] But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
[4] In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest {{{the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them}}}.

Gal.1
[8] {{{But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.}}}
[9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
[11] But I certify you, brethren, {{{that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.}}}

Peter says >>

1Pet.1
[12] Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you {{{by them}}} {{{that have preached the gospel}}} unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

Paul says >>

1Cor.1
[18] For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

[21] For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, {{{it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.}}}

But in order to "believe" they have to "trust". "...who first trusted in Christ." (Eph. 1:12). "{{{In Whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation}}}: {{{in Whom also after that ye believed}}}, ye were sealed with the holy Spirit of promise." (Eph. 1:13).

Hearing the gospel profitable to all?

Heb.4
[2] For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: {{{but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.}}}

God Bless,

Eve
