Are We Warriors Of A Spiritual Battle Ground?

==================

Are we warriors in a spiritual battle ground?

We have been made warriors in a spiritual battle ground... that has been going on for the ages...

Greetings to All,

Eph.1

[19,20,21] And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of {{{His mighty power,}}} Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and {{{dominion}}}, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

Note: "Far above all principality, and power, and might and dominion"

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Eph. 6:12). Why not "flesh and blood"?

Heb.2

[14] Forasmuch then as the {{{children are partakers of flesh and blood}}}, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Let us look at these {{{dominions}}}.

Matt.20

[25] But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that {{{the princes}}} of the Gentiles {{{exercise dominion}}} over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

Rom.6

[9] Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; {{{death}}} hath no more {{{dominion}}} over him.

Rom.6

[14] For {{{sin}}} shall not have {{{dominion}}} over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Col.1

[16] {{{For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible}}}, whether they be thrones, or {{{dominions}}}, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Pss.119

[133] Order my steps in thy word: and let not any {{{iniquity}}} have {{{dominion}}} over me

Is this Satan's {{{dominion}}}?

Speaking of Satan:

Ezek.28

[15] Thou wast {{{perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created}}}, {{{till iniquity}}} was found in thee.

"him that had the power of death, that is, the devil" (Heb. 2:14).

Now notice Satan has/had the {{{power of death}}}. BUT the power of death has/had {{{power}}} over man.

Man was also perfect also until iniquity was found in him. He was in the garden of Eden and then cast out.

It appears then that the invisible has power over the visible.

Also let us look at these {{{"powers"}}}.

"power of God" (Matt. 22:29), "power of the Highest" (Luke 1:45), "power of the Spirit" (Luke 4:14), "power of the Lord" (Luke 5:17), "power of our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Cor. 5:4), "power of Christ" (2 Cor. 5:9), "power of his resurrection" (Phil. 3:10); "power of an endless life" (Heb. 7:16).

Is this all {{{One}}} power?

"power of the enemy:" (Luke 10:19), "power of darkness" (Luke 22:53), "power of Satan" (Acts 26:18), "prince of the power of the air" (Eph. 2:2), "power of death" (Heb. 2:14).

Is this all {{{one}}} power?

Now let us look at the "Spirit" of:

"The Spirit of God" (Matt. 3:16), "The Spirit of Christ" (1 Pet. 1:11), "The Spirit of Holiness" (Rom. 1:4), "The Spirit of Truth" (John 14:17), "The Spirit of a sound mind" (2 Tim. 1:7), "The Holy Spirit of Promise" (Eph. 1:13), "The Spirit of Meekness" (Gal. 6:1), "The Spirit of Understanding" (Isa. 11:2), "The Spirit of Wisdom" (Eph. 1:17), "The Spirit of Glory" (1 Pet. 4:14), "The Spirit of Counsel" (Isa. 11:2), "The Spirit of Grace" (Heb. 10:29), "The Spirit of Adoption" (Rom. 8:15), "The Spirit of Prophecy" (Rev. 19:10).

Are these all {{{One}}} Spirit?

Then the "spirit" of:

"The spirit of Fear" (2 Tim. 1:7), "The spirit of Divination" (Acts 16:16), "The spirit of Bondage" (Rom. 8:15), "The spirit of Antichrist" (1 John 4:3), "The spirit of the World" (1 Cor. 2:12), "The spirit of slumber" (Rom. 11:8), "The spirit of Error" (1 John 4:6).

Are these all {{{one}}} spirit?

Now let us go to this verse: "Which were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" (John 1:13). The first one would being Adam and Eve "of the will of God" NOT man. "Gather not (destroy not) my soul with sinners, Nor my life with bloody men: (Psalms 26:9). "Redeem me" (deliver by power)... (Psalms 26:11).

So... so far it appears that the spiritual and invisible things have power over the visible things... and therefore we were reborn of the Spirit in order to have power over the invisible things.

So... have we been made warriors in a spirtual battle ground that has been going on for eons???

In Christ,

Eve
